ITINERARY

Your East African Adventure

Experience everything that the areas of Tarangire National Park, Ndutu area, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro crater, and the Island of Zanzibar have to offer on this 12-day safari and beach resort escape.

Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your guide and transported to Arusha for your overnight at the Mt Meru Hotel where you will enjoy bed and breakfast.

Day 2

After breakfast, you and your guide will drive to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. There you will enjoy the many herds of elephants and a picnic lunch. After you have learned the many things there are to learn in this national park, you will proceed to your overnight accommodations for a full three-course dinner with house wine and beer, share stories of the day, and retire to your luxury tent for the night.

Day 3

You will awake and attend the dining area for a full hot breakfast with your fellow travelers. Your travels today will take you to the Ndutu area where the wildebeest have their young and where they migrate to the Serengeti. Here you will enjoy lunch in the wild. After your game drive, you will return to your camp for a leisurely three-course dinner with local wine and beer.

Day 4

Enjoy a full day of game drive or morning and afternoon game drives in the Ndutu area enjoying all the sights the area has to offer. Return to your camp and enjoy a full three-course dinner visit and share photos.

Day 5

Rise to a full hot breakfast to prepare you for your drive to the Serengeti National Park. Here you will have lunch and an afternoon game drive before returning to your camp to enjoy the pool or relax in your luxury tent. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset and a three-course dinner with house wine and beer.

Day 6

Today is off to Ngorongoro to descend into the crater to witness the vast area with many of the animals you came to Africa to see, all in one place. You will enjoy a picnic lunch, a beautiful lake that is home to many flamingos, as well as have the chance to see the big five in their natural habitat. You will ascend from the crater and return to camp for your three-course dinner, time to relax, and see the sunset.

Day 7

After breakfast, you and your guide will return to Arusha, have lunch at a local restaurant and then proceed to the airport for your flight to the beautiful Island of Zanzibar. You will be met at the airport in Zanzibar and taken to the Ocean Paradise Beach Resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 8-11

The days are yours to enjoy some relaxation, the activities at the resort, or to arrange any of the many tours offered through the concierge desk (own expense). The resort offers two choices half board (breakfast and dinner) provided or for $300 USD more you can enjoy and all-inclusive stay including all meals, wine, beer, spirits, bottled water, and soft drinks.

Day 12

You will enjoy a full hot breakfast before being transported to the airport for your flight home.

We will bid you a fond farewell until you can return again.
